ELECTRIC / LOW CARBON TRANSPORTATION
Electric Transportation (e.g., cars, trucks, buses, bicycles, motorcycles, OHV/farm vehicles/military [off highway vehicle], snowmobiles, VTol's, marine vehicles) is evolving as your read this - new battery and green hydrogen fuel cell technologies will accelerate the development of electric vehicles and renewable energy storage solutions.
Lithium Ion battery packs for most cars back in 2010 cost approximately $1,200/kWh - they have fallen 89% and in 2021 cost only $132/kWh (Electrek). The holy grail is when the cost of battery packs are below $100/kWh which
would allow EV's to be cost-comparative to
ICE (internal combustion engine) vehicles.
The great news is that even at today's EV battery costs, the total cost of ownership can be thousands less than comparable ICE cars before applying any state or federal incentives.
The future is clear - EV's are more cost effective and require significant less maintenance, saving you money
while helping the environment.
Win-Win!
!
Some EV bus companies have broken the $100/kWh battery price ceiling in 2021 and this is expected to lower the costs of electric school buses and municipal passenger buses improving the inner city air quality while lowering noise levels.
Win-Win!

As we have seen, EV battery raw material supply fluctuates and many companies are scrambling to produce the commodities needed to meet the demands. We need a sustainable method to recycle battery materials.

A few companies have now found processes that will minimize the need for new battery raw materials to meet economic and environmental goals. With these new recycling methods along with renewable energy solutions, I believe we can achieve a true net zero transportation solution, protecting our planet.
Win-Win!
